Retired from teaching, Julie decided to start a podcast. Come listen as she talks to people from Binghamton, discusses pop culture and dives into beauty and makeup. According to her she thinks everyone who grew up here is a "Local Legend" or "Binghamton Famous." Not only just the obvious movers and shakers, but the unsung heroes like the cashier at your favorite childhood grocery store. She'll also share beauty info she's learned along the way (Her love of all things beauty started at Crones Drugs Store while canvassing the aisles with a Glamour magazine in hand at 10 years old).
Julie believes Binghamton's own local legend, Rod Serling, said it best. "Everyone has to have a hometown, Binghamton's mine."

Crone's Drug Store
A brief dive into Crone's drugstores and their founder, Everett "Doc" Crone. This was a place where I would often spend numerous hours browsing the counters and "purchasing" candy or more accurately, charging it to Nelson's account. Ah, the good old days!
